Father's Day

Father’s Day is this weekend on June 19th! The Continental Title family is spread across Kansas and Missouri, but we’ve found activities in all our locations so you can celebrate with your dad no matter where you are.

‘Papa bears’ get free admission all Father’s Day at the Kansas City Zoo! The whole family can enjoy seeing lions, elephants, monkeys, and more. Plus, dads get a free hot dog meal at the Tropic Tent.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for nice weather this weekend, because if it’s sunny, we’ll be celebrating Father’s Day at Oceans of Fun! The water park is hosting their very first Belly Flop Contest at 2:30pm Sunday at the Surf City Wave Pool.

There’s lots of restaurants to choose from in KC if you want to treat your father and family to brunch. We recommend The Majestic for a meal in an old-timey atmosphere, Affare for a family-friendly brunch with sophisticated and locally-sourced food, and The Farmhouse for a classic options and an outdoor patio.

Does your dad love music? The St. Louis Symphony is rocking out this weekend with two concerts perfect for Father’s Day – a Tribute to David Bowie on June 17th, followed by the Music of Elvis on June 19th.

For the auto-obsessed dad, the Father’s Day Car Show in Kimmswick, MO provides a full day of entertainment. Get there at 9am and enjoy displays of cars, trucks, and motorcycles, plus music and food!

St. Louis has plenty of delicious brunches to offer too! Take the family to Drunken Fish, where dad can eat a free meal with a minimum purchase of $25. Tapas restaurant Sanctuaria will be serving a five-course Father’s Day meal you won’t want to miss, or enjoy the brunch buffet at Bristol Seafood Grill.

Break it down on the dance floor with your dad at the Father’s Day Country Dance. Admission is only $10, with music provided by DJ Jack Harris.

Set a tee time at one of the area’s golf courses! If your father enjoys nature, Branson’s idyllic golf courses are the perfect place to spend his special day.

Another way to enjoy the outdoors with your dad is on the water. Main Street Lake Cruises offer lunch, dinner, and sightseeing cruises on Lake Taneycomo. The old-fashioned boat will take you on a tour of the wildlife and scenery on the lake.
