Sweet Sixteen: Clearing Title Issues
If something shows up during the title search, this is where we roll up our sleeves and really get to work.
Our team helps resolve issues that could stand in the way of a clean transfer of ownership. That might mean coordinating lien releases, correcting recording errors, verifying legal descriptions or tracking down missing documents from prior transactions.
Much like a basketball team adjusting its strategy at halftime, this step requires attention to detail and close communication with everyone involved in the transaction.
Final Four: Preparing for Closing
Once the title is clear, we begin preparing for closing day. This includes finalizing title commitments, coordinating with REALTORS® and lenders, preparing closing documents and issuing the title insurance policy that helps protect the buyer’s ownership rights.
A lot of back-end preparation happens here, so the final step feels smooth and organized for everyone involved.
Championship Game: Closing Day
Closing day is when everything finally comes together. Documents are signed, funds are transferred and the keys are handed over to the new owner.
