That’s why we’re taking the time to make sure all agents know exactly what they need to provide us with so that everything goes smoothly. After all, #IfWeDontKnowItWontShow!   • If your title company does not receive commission letters or invoices prior to closing, they can’t collect for it.
  • Make sure to check the settlement statements prior to closing if possible. It is important that you double check all commissions, home warranties, and include all miscellaneous invoices.
  • To avoid post-closing issues, your title company needs all invoices, amendments, and resolutions prior to closing.
  • To ensure the accuracy and timeliness of your commission check, your title company needs your commission letter and any brokerage fees submitted as soon as possible after they have received the contract.
