Another crazy year (almost) in the books! While 2022 was not without its challenges, the Continental Title Company team is incredibly grateful to get to do what we do and work with many fantastic real estate professionals.
Before we turn the page and embark on all that 2023 will have in store, we wanted to share a few highlights from our year:
New President: Longtime team member Elizabeth Daniel became our new president this year, bringing 26 years of experience in the mortgage and title insurance industry. An exceptional leader, champion of teams and advocate for growth, we’re grateful for Elizabeth’s leadership and all that she’s already done to further our mission.
Lake St. Louis Office Grand Opening: In September, we celebrated the grand opening of our Lake St. Louis office! We’re thrilled to expand our services to this area. Rose, Meghan and Laura are on hand to meet with you and help you with your next transaction.
Now Offering Mobile Closings in Lawrence: We transformed our service offerings in Lawrence, allowing us to bring the closing experience directly to you with fully mobile closings. Same great experience – now with the flexibility to close at your own real estate office or a location of your choice!!
B.L.U.E. Day 2022: The entire Continental Title team left the office to serve over 20 different organizations across Kansas and Missouri for our annual community outreach B.L.U.E. (Benefiting Locals, Uniting Employees) Day on Monday, October 10! We were thrilled over the opportunity to once again step away from our day-to-day responsibilities to give back to our great communities.
Special Bowling Event: In November, we hosted a special bowling event benefiting the Veterans Community Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping make a difference in the lives of homeless veterans. We had a great time connecting with others and (mostly) avoided throwing too many gutter balls.
ProvidingThanksgiving: We’re also so proud of our ability to provide a Thanksgiving meal to those in need. For most of November, we donated a portion of each order toward City Union Mission (Kansas City offices) and the STL Turkey Time Program through Fishes and Loaves (St. Louis offices).
